Fashion brand, Crimson celebrated the successful launch of their latest luxury unstitched collection, Crimson Luxe by Saira Shakira, in collaboration with designer duo Saira Shakira through a meet and greet at Cosa Nostra, Lahore on August 24, 2016.
The event was well-attended by prominent personalities from the fashion industry including models, designers, socialites and media personalities. The décor was done by Sundus Mustafa of Whimsical Parties, with PR by Amjad Bhatti.
The campaign, ‘Call Her Diva’, for Crimson Luxe by Saira Shakira, features one of the leading actresses of the Pakistani film industry, Sanam Saeed, as the face of the campaign. The collection consists of 12 unstitched 3-piece designs on luxury fabrics such as chiffon, silks, hand woven nets and organza with Saira Shakira’s signature embroideries and intricate hand work embellishments. The colour palette includes a variety of pastel shades as well as darker hues like scarlet reds.
Speaking about the launch of the latest collection, CEO of Crimson, Anum Javed Akram said, “Our collaboration with Saira Shakira has been a delightful journey from the time we started working on this collection. The event celebrating our launch in Lahore was a milestone for our brand: I thank God for this and our collaborative team efforts with our friends’ and family’s support. The response we have been receiving from those in attendance as well as others has been very promising.”
Commenting on the collection’s launch, the designer duo, Saira and Shakira said: “Crimson Luxe by Saira Shakira has been a great collaborative experience with Crimson. The event attendance and feedback was incredible and we are looking forward to the public launch nationwide tomorrow.”
Crimson Luxe by Saira Shakira will be available nationwide from 26 August, 2016 onwards between a price range of PKR 11,000 to PKR 12,000 through all leading retail houses and online for worldwide delivery via www.crimson.com.pk.

Crimson was launched in March 2016 by Anum Javed Akram under the conglomerate Akram Group of Companies. Based on a high street model, Crimson has previously successfully launched a lawn collection and is now ready to launch their debut luxury collection with a high-end luxury design house, Saira Shakira.
Anum Javed Akram, CEO of Crimson, is currently enrolled in a Masters of Management from Harvard University. with a keen interest in fashion and textiles. She has launched the multi brand store, LABELS, in Lahore and worked in the family business before starting Shehla Clothing, a company designing and producing apparel for leading retailers across Pakistan. She now runs Crimson and has also confounded FitFibre.

Saira Shakira, a high-end luxury brand, was founded in the year 2012 by Saira Faisal and Shakira Usman.
